Painted lips are one of the most repeated images of the twentieth century, from cinema posters to Pop Art. In the Lips Kettlebell a full pair of lips, glossy or gilded, is set on the smooth body of the weight. The sculpture asks what beauty costs: the time, the products and the daily discipline behind an image that should look effortless. It belongs to The Weights of Beauty, with the Female Bust, the Beauty Pouch and the Heart.
Editions and dimensions
The Lips Kettlebell is made in 3 numbered editions, named after boxing weight classes: Heavyweight, an edition of 30 pieces (25 × 18 × 15 cm, 5 kg); Middleweight, an edition of 60 pieces (19 × 14 × 11 cm, 2 kg); and Featherweight, an edition of 90 pieces (13 × 10 × 7 cm). The form is the same in every edition; only scale and mass change.

It is made in 5 colours: white & red, black & gold, pink & red, black & white and white & gold. Other colours can be made on request.
