Who we are
enniogiogos.com is the official website of the visual artist Ennios Eros Giogos, based in Athens, Greece. He is the controller of the personal data described on this page. Contact: studio@enniogiogos.com.
What data we collect and why
When you write to us
If you contact us by email, or with the “Inquire about this work” form on the pages of our works, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number (if you give it), your message, the work you are asking about, and the website or link that brought you to our site (for example Google or Instagram). We use them only to reply and to handle your request. If your request concerns a piece that is currently held by a partner gallery, we also forward it to that gallery so it can reply to you; the gallery uses your details only for this request. Requests sent with the form are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted automatically. Legal basis: steps you ask us to take before a possible purchase, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address (and your name, if you give it) is stored with Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which sends our emails. You confirm your subscription by email (double opt-in) and you can unsubscribe at any time with the link at the end of every email. Legal basis: your consent.
Statistics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4, through Google’s Site Kit plugin, to see how many people visit the site and which pages they read. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data such as the pages you visit, your approximate location, your device and your browser. It does not store IP addresses, and we see only aggregated statistics, not who you are. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC; data may be transferred to the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
Fonts and server logs
The site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps technical logs (IP address, date, page requested) for security and to keep the site running.
Cookies
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics): statistics, up to 2 years.
- pll_language: remembers the language you chose, 1 year.
- WordPress sets its own cookies only for the site’s administrator, when logged in.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings.
Pinterest and social media
We publish images of our own artworks to our own Pinterest account through the Pinterest API. This connection is used only to create Pins and to read our own boards; we do not collect or store any data about Pinterest users. Links to Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest take you to those platforms, where their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to studio@enniogiogos.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
