Inquire about this workAbout the Female Bust Kettlebell
A female torso wearing a golden bra takes the form of a kettlebell. The Female Bust Kettlebell plays with the way the body is shaped, displayed and judged, and with the distance between what we want and what we are told to want. Its largest edition, the Extra Heavyweight, is a unique piece of 15 kg. The work is part of The Weights of Beauty, beside the Lips, the Beauty Pouch and the Heart.
Editions and dimensions
The Female Bust Kettlebell is made in 4 numbered editions, named after boxing weight classes: Extra Heavyweight, a unique piece (35 × 26 × 18 cm, 15 kg); Heavyweight, an edition of 30 pieces (30 × 23 × 16 cm, 6 kg); Middleweight, an edition of 60 pieces (25 × 19 × 14 cm, 3 kg); and Featherweight, an edition of 90 pieces (20 × 15 × 11 cm). The form is the same in every edition; only scale and mass change.
