Lion Kettlebell

The Weights of Dominance

The lion becomes an autonomous presence and a mirror of the qualities we admire, fear or wish to possess. The age-old emblem of power takes the form of the kettlebell: dominance as weight.

About the Lion Kettlebell

The lion is one of the oldest emblems of power in art, from royal seals to the Lion Gate of Mycenae. In the Lion Kettlebell the mane spreads over the body of the weight and the face looks straight ahead, calm and in command. It is a symbol of rule that we still use for leaders and champions. The antique bronze finish brings it close to the statues of public squares. It belongs to The Weights of Dominance.

Editions and dimensions

The Lion Kettlebell is made in 3 numbered editions, named after boxing weight classes: Heavyweight, an edition of 30 pieces (25 × 18 × 17 cm, 5 kg); Middleweight, an edition of 60 pieces (19 × 13 × 13 cm, 2 kg); and Featherweight, an edition of 90 pieces (13 × 9 × 9 cm). The form is the same in every edition; only scale and mass change.

Colours and finishes

It is made in 7 colours: black glossy, blue, yellow, orange, magenta, green and red. Special finishes, with more work by hand: antique bronze. Other colours can be made on request.
