Dog Kettlebell
The Weights of Dominance
The dog becomes an autonomous presence and a mirror of the qualities we admire, fear or wish to possess. Loyal and playful, it is the gentlest face of the animal section, where instinct meets companionship.
Mixed media, 2026
Colour: Dalmatian
Each piece is handmade, numbered and signed, and comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Other colours on request.
Inquire about this workAbout the Dog Kettlebell
Of all the animals in the series, the dog is the one that lives with us. The Dog Kettlebell keeps the open mouth and round eyes of a friendly breed, and its colours, among them a dalmatian finish, turn the weight into a companion rather than a threat. It is the gentlest face of The Weights of Dominance: a reminder that loyalty and play are forms of strength too.
Editions and dimensions
The Dog Kettlebell is made in 3 numbered editions, named after boxing weight classes: Heavyweight, an edition of 30 pieces (25 × 21 × 20 cm, 5 kg); Middleweight, an edition of 60 pieces (20 × 17 × 16 cm, 2 kg); and Featherweight, an edition of 90 pieces (15 × 13 × 12 cm). The form is the same in every edition; only scale and mass change.
