Pénthos

         This large-scale memorial installation proposes a temporary intervention in the National Garden of Athens, adjacent to the Greek Parliament. Inspired by collective mourning after the COVID-19 pandemic and the Mati wildfires, the design envelops a path of palm trees in black tulle, forming a tunnel of grief and reflection. Inside, long horizontal mirrors of water reflect the sky — a gesture of remembrance, humility, and transience. The work aims to transform everyday public space into a sacred passage.
