A grenade is a weapon made to be thrown; here it is held still and becomes sculpture. The Grenade Kettlebell keeps the segmented body and the safety lever of the real object, stencilled with the words “Army of One”, a phrase that sums up the fantasy of the self-sufficient individual. The work belongs to The Weights of Ego, with the Skull and the Warrior.
Editions and dimensions
The Grenade Kettlebell is made in 2 numbered editions, named after boxing weight classes: Heavyweight, an edition of 30 pieces (32 × 24 × 18 cm, 6 kg); and Middleweight, an edition of 60 pieces (25 × 19 × 14 cm, 3 kg). The form is the same in every edition; only scale and mass change.

It is made in 6 colours: green, blue, red, magenta, yellow and orange. Other colours can be made on request.
