The Architecture of Language and the Language of Architecture
Diploma Thesis Lecture Presentation | Late June 2022
In late June 2022, the formal presentation and lecture for the diploma thesis titled The Architecture of Language and the Language of Architecture took place at the University of West Attica (UNIWA).
The lecture explored the structural, conceptual and semiotic intersections between linguistic frameworks and spatial design, examining how structural patterns in language mirror architectural composition.
Abstract
The research examines the structural parallels between linguistic syntax and spatial organisation. By investigating how architectural form conveys meaning through a structured vocabulary, the work proposes a unified conceptual bridge between how we construct sentences and how we construct physical space. The presentation sets out the key methodology, case studies and analytical models developed during the research.

The complete volume of the thesis, including diagrams, visual analysis and detailed bibliography, is archived in the Polynoe Institutional Repository of the University of West Attica.
